Not bad for our first time.......
Our busy, crazy and fun filled life in suburbia! Work, School, Kids, Church and the mommy van of craziness in constant commute between them all...
We can put pumpkins on our heads!
Cool a hay maze, let's get lost..
Alex and Ashley with their pumpkins on their heads
Cutie pie kids.....watch out for stray hay!
Johnny and Meghan had a great time picking out their pumpkins. We will carve the big one tomorrow night...
Meghan has another tooth and Johnny has his fall party tomorrow at Kids Day Out. It is going to be great fun. He is doing great with his toilet training. His only accidents are at home when he is too busy playing to go to the bathroom. Tarah had a birthday party at the Dallas Zoo all day so she wasn't able to go with us. Next year I will get some of the whole family.
Here is Johnny after we got back from the Fire Station Open House last Saturday (the t-shirt was a gift from a friend) -he got lots of cool fire man stuff. We saw a helicopter take off and land, lots of fire trucks, police cars, ambulances and we even saw the special operations robot steal OU hats off boys walking by it.
It is official- Johnny is potty trained! He has not had a diaper or pull-up on in 3 days and no accidents. I am so proud of him. I took some advice from Granny and Aunt Goldie. A little story about how my dad learned to go by peeing on a rock out back............. Johnny asked if he could pee outside and I thought that since I had tried everything else why not??? So for a couple of days he spent lots of time running around the back yard peeing on anything he could reach. Now he has transfered that joy to using the inside plumbing. He has even had a trip to Wal-Mart and went to the bathroom there.
Meghan is hiding her new tooth behind her cute smile. Now that it has broke through she is sleeping at night again.
Here is Meghan finishing off her wagon wheel biscuit. She loves to eat with her hands when mommy will let her get extra messy.....
Tarah is going to the homecoming game tonight. I added a few little things to her mum for this year. I taught myself to make the cool braids and I bought her a new light for her flower. I made a garter for her "boyfriend".
Johnny showing off his push pop candy. His treat for going potty in the bathroom!!! He spent 10 hours in big boy underwear with no accidents. I am trying to get this kid out of diapers before kindergarten, but he is stubborn.....can't figure out where he gets that from......
Tarah and her cousins performed in their CS4C concert this past weekend. I have video but it is not digital. They did so good. Tarah even smiled and looked happy to be there.
Here are the seniors doing a song. They are great and really inspire us adults to be better people. I am so proud of Tarah and Alex.
Things here are busy as always...........I only wish I was able to play raquetball this semester. But when I go back to school in Jan. I will be able to work out all I want. I am sorry not to update as much lately. It is hard to get the kids to nap, get anything done and still do all I need to. My blood sugar is not doing good and I am 80 lbs. overweight, it is hard to get motivated and workout with 2 young kids needing constant attention. I am just really tired these days and trying to do better.
