I get to wear another honor cord!!!

Pi Sigma Alpha is a national political science honor society based on GPA and major. I have been nominated to join because of my grades in my goverment degree.
I am very excited, if I actually pass my classes this semester I will graduate with three different honors.

Please God help me through this next two weeks. I am so behind on homework.

I have to apologize ahead of time.

According to my counter I have 38 days left and 55 days worth of work to do between now and then. That doesn't even count the kids and doctors visits.

PLEASE Pray daily for Teresa and I do get through this horrible difficult time.

First pro haircuts for the kids today!

With the stress of the doc visit I almost forgot Johnny and Meghan got their first offical hair cuts today. I will load the pictures tomorrow since everyone is in bed. She showed me how to keep meghan's hair out of her face ( since I cut it wrong and way too far back) . I can't wait to download the fab pictures. Johnny is very styling but still no hair in the eyeballs.

I will down load pics tomorrow.

Johnny and his visit with the Doctor

Meghan had her allergy visit a couple of weeks ago and was put on a new inhaler and is like a new healthy wonderful child. She is sleeping better and not coughing and most of all her breathing is 100% better. Plus the best part is not having to spend almost an hour a day using the nubulizer.

Well today was Johnny's turn....He didn't like the back pin prick part. But he did great. He is only allergic to all the spring stuff like me. Grass, mountain cedar, but no food or dust mite allergy.
Johnny has been having constant strep throat and other infections and we have been fighting to keep him well. We have spent weekly and monthly visits to the ped doctor because his tonsils are completely swollen for most of a year.
The doc took a CT scan of Johnny's head today. His adnoids (sp?) are so big that they are blocking the air passage. He can't breathe through his nose and it's why he can't blow his nose. I feel terrible for all the times I havce been trying to get him to blow and we know now why it hurts. He has some infection in a few of his sinus cavities. So 2 weeks of antibiotics and one week of steriods and a consult with the ENT in a week. It looks like Johnny will be have his tonsils and adnoids out sometime after his antibiotics.

I hate the fact that I am so scared. I know he will feel so much better and that he feel like a whole new boy! It's the knocking him out being in the hospital and the few days of pain he is going to have to go through.

We are just so happy that there is finally going to be a resolution to both of our children't constant health problems. I know we are blessed with good doctors and insurance but I still feel guilty for being so nervous. Johnny had me take a picture of his back so he could see all the dots.
