School starts on Monday

Here is Johnny, Sean and Chandler....I am so excited that Johnny has his favorite friends from Kindergarten in his first grade class. His teacher seems great and I was impressed by her classroom. Foster, Johnny's best friend is also in his class this year.


Sorry for the long delay in posting...it has been a busy summer and i have gotten hooked on Facebook so a lot of my posts go there.

I will do what I can to do a better job of keeping up now that school is starting and life goes back to a normal schedule.

I had to get them new bathing suits since they grow so fast. But I tried to be smart this year and get some extra sun protection with the surfer shirts and shorts.

We had fun at Johnny's end of year carnival. It was very hot but the kids didn't seem to notice.

Special Olympics and Johnny's school field day

Johnny had a blast at field day and I was thrilled that I got to cheer him on. He is taking a gatorade break between stations.

One of the first games was to carry a wet sponge over his head to an awaiting bucket. It was over 90 degrees so that was a good game.

Johnny forgot to get his hat and sunglasses out of his backpack when we went to watch the Special Olympics. He got to wear Daddy's cool fishing hat instead. He cheered and had a great time. The noise and chaos didn't seem to bother him at all.

We had the most wonder visit with Cathy, Barry and Justin. I can't wait until I get to spend some quality time with Josh, Bailey and Chelsey too. I miss them so much already.

Grandma June from Bastrop, and Sarah my cousin is lurking behind her looking for her son most likely.

Grandpa Bill was a welcome sight. We were worried who all would be able to come. Grandpa Bill and Grandma June live in Bastrop.

I used to play in Aunt Sue's backyard as a small child. It was the coolest place ever!

My mom got to rest in the shade...it was a long but fun day.
