A little prayer for me today would be great!!!
I am back from my 4pm scan. No news until Monday except for my sweet Doc called to tell me that my results from yesterday were labled "unusual". I could have told them that in the first place and saved $100. I am still in a lot of pain but I am going to try to walk it off.
Newest Friday update: Well I go back at 4pm to try another scan because the barium won't move into one half of my bowels. At least now the doc gets to see my digestion problem in action!!! So the day will be spent drinking water and walking....it's like being in labor (pain wise) but with none of the good drugs I got having babies!
Friday update: The tests did not go well. I had my first one at 11am and then had to go back at 4 pm due to the fact that the barium would not travel far enough down my system. I may have to go back this morning to try another time. They had me eat, drink and walk in between tests and that food has me in a horrible amount of pain today. I just pray that we get this figured out soon so I can have a normal day playing with my kids, who miss getting to leave the house.
I have been sick for a while now with intestinal issues. This is nothing new to me and I have just been writing it off to side effects from all the meds I have been on for mental health issues. Well, even after coming off all the medicines, I am still having some problems eating or drinking without feeling like dying.
My doc is great and is running all the standard (although some of them are disgusting) tests. I drank all my barium for my CT scan this morning but my intestines do not want to let it pass down to where we think the problem is. So I go back at 4:30 after some walking, eating and drinking to get my guts up and running.
It is kind of funny that the same problem I have with food is fouling up my dang scan. I am just praying that I do not have to drink 900 ml of bairum again. It was all I could do to keep it down. If this doesn't work I am going to ask the doc to just scope me and get it over with, since that is what they are going to do last anyway.
It is probably an infection or some little problem that is just messing with my digestion but the doc wants all the info possible to send with me to the nice lady with the scary scope.
I will keep you up to date on my how my guts do.....keep a good thought out there for me.

sorry to take so long but I am back......
It has been three long weeks of fitting in all the things we had been putting off until after graduation and Johnny's throat stuff. We are trying to get the house clean and restocked.

A little R&R
We are falling into a routine around the house. Spending the day making sure Johnny is OK. He must be, from the loud, demanding, grunting sounds coming from the kitchen. He's back to eating Cheetos, so I am guessing his throat hurts less today.
I have seen ever episode of Sponge Bob ever made (even the new ones this week)... I am dreaming of a day soon when I will get to leave the house.
It is time to get ourselves ready for the weekend of my daughter's annual summer trek to Amarillo. I know how much she misses everybody there so I am looking at the bright side! It is hard to have her so far away but she gets to spend some quality uninterrupted time with her family.
I will post some pics soon. I have to write some thank you cards and I have a crazy to-do list of things to finish before I go search for employment.

Johnny and his helper Meghan are doing well after the surgery
I can't believe how well Johnny is recovering from having tonsils and adnoids removed on Tuesday. He had a rough week but he feels well enough to go without pain meds and he is sleeping in his own bed tonight. At first we let him sleep on a matteress in the living room while one of us slept near him just in case he woke up at night.
We are so lucky that it has all gone well. His tonsils were both larger than a quater (we have a picture!) and his upper sinus' were 100% blocked by the adnoids, also extremely large. The swelling is going down and we hope he will be able to breath better now.
As soon as we are all healthy, We hope to go to the pool soon. Maybe even have play dates....
