What a bunch of crazy kids..................

"hey man, am I cool or what???"

"peace out dudes..............."

"here mom, put this in your mouth.....I got it nice and soggy for you......."

Things here are good. Johnny loves going to school twice a week. Meghan is waking up at night again so I think she is growing. It is almost time for those teeth to start showing up. What fun. I am working on costumes again and I am really happy with the ones I have so far. Meghan still hates tummy time and is only happy when she is sitting up eating everything she can.

My dad's OK and I couldn't be happier!!!

I am home from Amarillo. My dad is recovering nicely and I had a great visit with him, my mom and my granny. Dad has been inspired to turn over a healthy leaf and I think I will join him. If he can do it, so can I! I have a lot of weight to lose and exercise to do........

As a treat for all our hard work, I think we should all compare notes [and waist lines] at opening weekend of the Faire here south of town. Maybe I can lose enough weight to wear a sexy wench outfit! I think my mom and dad should drive down together and have a day full of wenchs, sword fights and lots of M'Lords and M'Ladies......................

I will be available to work on new costumes if any one is so inclined...........I still have to finish the fan I want to make for my mom. I need a clean white feather provider..................????

Life is good and I have my Dad..............thank you God for answered prayers

Don has gone home

This photo is from the joyous occasion of Tarah's 13th birthday....but don't tell Johnny he thinks it was his birthday. We lived, we laughed and we loved with all our hearts.............

Don Barclay, Tarah's paternal grandfather, passed away yesterday in a hospital in Frisco. He was surrounded by his family and friends. While his passing was sooner then we had expected he left this world the same way he lived it, on his own terms and in his own unique way. We are heartbroken at our loss of such an incredible Man of God, a Father, Grandfather and an amazing Friend. However, we will try to put that aside to remember that he is in a much better place where he can breathe easy and have the joy that he so richly deserves.

New Season for the Live Nativity and CS4C

Tarah's new season for CS4C starts next week. Look for new preformances to start soon. I also have a link to the site for the group on this blog. Kristy trys to keep the pictures and video up to date.

Also this will be my 3rd year as the Costume Director for the Live Nativity. We will be having performances for 2 nights this year. Also our Bethlehem Market Place is a really big hit. It will be awesome. The dates for this year are December 16th and 17th. My birthday {again}. I geuss I will celebrate the weekend after since the weeks leading up to it are insane!!!!! There is also a link to the info on my blog page.

Kids weights and heights~~~

Johnny reading Daddy a story at bedtime, {Johnny's not Daddy's}.........

"If I sit up straight I can kick brother in the back!"

Meghan's favorite toy right now is a worm that Aunt Karen bought for Johnny when he was little.

Meghan sits up by herself in the Boppy! "How many toys can I chew on today?"

I forgot to mention that all three kids had a well child check-up on the 10th of August. Everyone is very healthy and Johnny and Tarah don't have to go back until next year.

Meghan is 18 lbs. and 27 inches long. She is in the 75th percentile. She is right on track. She is trying one new food every 3-4 days. So far she is not a big fan of solid food and only eats solids once, maybe twice a day. I am sure in a few months when she can feed herself finger foods it will be a whole new story.

Johnny 32 lbs. and 40 inches tall. Percentile wise he is officially very tall and skinny. He is doing so well. He starts a 2 day a week Kids Day Out program on September 6th. That way he can get some social interaction and maybe some inspiration on the toliet learning front. He wants to be a big boy but is really regressing since Meghan's arrival.

We don't get to leave the house much since the weather is so hot. It is hard to get the kids out and about without worrying about them overheating.

Meghan and Johnny vote on Carrots

Meghan is not a fan............Green beans and applesause are OK but carrots are yucky!

Johnny says, "don't forget about me!"

Johnny wanted to taste the rice cereal mixed with carrots. He loves it!

He likes baby carrots but not such a big fan of the grown-up style.

First day of school! Yipeeeeee

"Which Hand is the jelly fish in?" Johnny gets it right every time now. He is too smart!

Johnny's favorite tv watching chair!

I am jelly fishin'!!! His new favorite toy is a scoop out of a formula can and a $1 set of jelly sea animals.

Don't you dare take that picture!!!! I got in real trouble for this one. Johnny is being trained to walk on our backs.
