Happy Birthday to my 15 year old Tarah!!!!!

There are so many mixed feelings about Tarah's Birthday today. I am glad we finally had the mall scavenger hunt Tarah has wanted to do for years, but that had it's good and bad parts. This is the year where she starts growing those wings and I can only hope and pray that all of loving adults in her life did a good enough job of building her spirit. She is smart, she is beautiful, she is compassionate, she is strong-willed!!, she is joyful, she is giving, she is respectful (on the outside, but we get all the inner thoughts in a monologe later at home) which goes to show she is smart. She loves her family and she works through the daily struggle of having her heart torn in half between two homes. While her parents struggle with the missed events and feelings of loss, we are lucky that for part of the year we get a break from that pain. Tarah is always missing someone every single day. She is my hero. She makes me smile everday. She makes me mad everyday. She makes me a better mom every day. She makes me a better person every day. I thank God for every single day of the last 15 years. Some were bad and some were good, but the journey only gets better each and every day.

Happy 15th Birthday Tarah !!!! You are my 1st and there will always be a piece of my heart for you to carry with you on this exciting year of changes. Grow beautiful, strong wings that keep you on a good path and ones that always bring home. I Love You my sweet little frog.

Oh, please wish her a happy belated birthday for me. I can't believe she is 15 already. I still remember her being the little 5 year old that spoke like she was 10. She has grown into a beautiful intelligent young lady. I always knew she would be intelligent. I miss her and love her very much.
