Grandpa Floyd loves his new chair. He is 93 and quite young at heart.
"I want more pie!" was heard often from Johnny and Meghan.We had a wonderful visit and loved spending some quality time with everyone. We are looking forward to going back at Christmas. The men were busy working on the new addition to the house so instead of deep fried turkey, I got to try a new brined roasted turkey recipe. Thanks to Martha Stewart it turned out wonderful. We also had an incredible honey glazed spiral ham with every side dish in the world. It was quite a group effort and turned out wonderful.
We missed my family very much and it is always hard to be away from Tarah during the holidays but we take comfort in the fact that everyone was together in Amarillo for Thanksgiving. We are grateful that everyone is doing so well and we know how lucky we all are in these difficult times.
