Going Bonkers....how fitting for us...but a fun place to play!

We got there as they opened to beat the crowd!

Johnny conquers his fear at Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate our wonderful friends Aiden and Brandon's third birthday. Brian and Melissa are wonderful parents and two of our favorite friends. Johnny and Meghan had fun on their first visit to the "cheese".

One of the most exciting parts was when Johnny conquered his fear to climb up a gym that was up on the ceiling. He climbed up and went down a slide with twisties that he couldn't see past. He was really scared but Meghan and Aiden showed him how it was done and he did it!!!!!

We had the best time. The kids were so well behaved and brave. The noise didn't bother Johnny and we couldn't have asked for a more fun party!!!

Thanks a million to Brian and Mel for inviting us it was such a great day and love getting to play with the boys.

a new toy and brother sister fun

I got the kids an igloo tent to play in....just because. The first thing they did was fill it full of stuffed animals.

Speaking of Don....here he is fishing while I catch a squirrel with doritoes...the mountain sun baked my legs like a lobster!!!

Starting to see some progress on my weight

At graduation I weighed 225 lbs

and now I am down to 190 lbs.

In this bottom picture I am two pant sizes smaller and they are too big.
The best part is that when I went for my physical this morning I actually weighed the same on the doctors scale. My doctor was really sweet about my progress.

I am not finished yet. My goal is to get down to 140-150 lbs. I am working out again and hope to break through my current plateu and keep getting healthier. I am lucky to have a 24 hour fitness around the corner and the kids love the indoor playground.

Meghan's 3rd Birthday coming up on Superbowl Sunday

Well, Meghan is going to be three years old on February 1st. I still haven't decided what to do for it. It will be cold and there is not much that my kids like to do. Johnny is a little fearful of loud places and Meghan is brave but not quite tall enough to play on some of the things Johnny does. I wish it was warm enough to have bounce house in the backyard and a cook out.

Nothing new...recovering from some bugs and a new hair cut

Meghan has started to pose for the camera. If I want a natural shot, I have to make sure she doesn't see me with the camera. She calls it her "princess pose".

Even outside she is always in pose mode.

Johnny and Meghan have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather to play outside. They are both recovering from two different viruses so they are happy to be feeling better.


Meghan got her second haircut. Between the fussiness over her hair styles and the constant static electricity from the dry air, I decided it was time for a style change that took her hair out of her eyes and face. She is beautiful as always and loves her new look.
